One of the funniest biking/bike racing stories you or I will likely ever hear. Click on the link below to be enlightened

http://www.bobroll.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=25&Itemid=36

The story was about the man pictured above. Hilarious..... Bob "Bobke" Roll

Bob Roll is known for his hilarious antics, as evident from the above story.

I actually had the pleasure of seeing him race (in his mountain bike racing days) when he came to my hometown NORBA race in Traverse City, MI back in the early nineties. I can still remember the goofy assed Softride bike he rode as much as his HUGE mutton chop sideburns.

Why you should NOT antagonize a biker......especially a commuter packin' a hefty U-Lock!

Mid-West & East Coast Mtn. Biking

My brother, Chris, riding on the North Country Trail about half an hour away from my hometown, Traverse City.  It's a super fun, fast trail.  It has some technical stuff but only due to the speed that you can ride this trail at.  Some parts of the trail going through the trees you're scraping each end of your bars through the close trees.  A view of a rock wall opening called the "squeezer."A view of one of the "stunts" in the terrain park.  Just out of view are the other "stunts" with the teeter totters, ladders, up & overs, etc.  A view on the ride called "Moon Lake" in the Poconos of PA.

The countdown continues to D-Day

Indeed, the countdown continues for Hilary and I to exit the sinful city of Las Vegas in just an oh sooooo short 2.5 glorious months.  Unless I was not able to convey the sarcasm through the electronic media (known as the interweb to those in the know;), Hilary's residency is just about done here.  We will be heading to Pocono mountains of Pennsylvania for 365 days and then my friends, we are free to live where WE please!

Can I get a hallelujah?  Amen brother!!

Before we leave, I am excitedly awaiting my trip to meet up with Hilary in Big Sky country (i.e. Montana) to do a little skiing where there are mountains with ummm well snow.  Novel 'eh?Pictures and a post I'm sure will follow.

Pretty soon, in my enthusiasm, I will merely post a countdown clock showing the days, minutes and seconds until our departure.

Now I should be clear I will NOT miss this town......at all, but I will be missing some folks I have come to know along the way.  To those folks I surely hope we will continue to know and see each other in the future.

Good Day

Is there anybody OUT there.........

So it appears that I have very little to say as of late.......er uh the last four months.  I still can't think of anything witty or interesting to say, not that anybody is probably reading this anyway, and if you are hope all is well and perhaps in the near future I will post something good for the world to read.
